Body in Balance Physical Therapy provides 45-60 minute, private, one-on-one treatment sessions with a licensed doctor of physical therapy. Laura works together with the patient to determine goals and to develop a treatment plan that addresses the underlying causes of the condition.
By developing individualized home excersise programs and self-care that is easy to do with minimal equipment, we work to facilitate improved health and movement, ultimatly improving the patients quality of life.
We find that educating the patient on their condition helps to improve compliance with their program therapy, maintaining improvement and minimizing recurrence.
Orthopedic and Neuromuscular Physical Therapy
Orthopedic conditions include injuries to the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments as well as related to conditions such as back and neck pain, arthritis, sprains, strains, fractures, tendinitis, chronic and acute pain. These injuries can be work, sports or accident related. Physical therapy has been proven to be effective treatment for these conditions.
